Why is my avi appropriate for a couple YEARS and then suddenly not?

It actually happened before but the excuse I was given by admin was that the image was too big. I had it for at least a year before that even happened but some pussy RA'd cause I hurt their feelings (I assume) and it suddenly disappeared. I went without one for a while and then decided to go ahead and resize the image I was originally using. Had it for about 2 years and again some pussy must have RA'd cause their feelings were hurt (maybe) and it's gone again but this time because it's "not appropriate". I think you guys do a pretty good job around here and I follow the rules, I don't think I've even received a PM. It's kinda funny but it's very pathetic.
I'm not really requesting to use it again I'm just wondering which one of you has the bloody vag.

Who is to say it wasn't inappropriate the entire time, and someone just noticed it?

I would think that over 10,000 posts with the same avi next to them would be slightly noticeable, I know plenty of posters have commented about it specifically.
