What year is it where you are?

If pressed, I prefer Liuzza's. Great onion rings.

I know. Bringing the Mrs. to some of my dad's haunts. Maybe just a moon mug and onion rings at Liuzza"s before better fare.

Oh for nostalgia it's no contest. Liuzza's is a fun place. The draft beer, while nonmaven, is great in the fishbowls. I too have fond memories meeting my folks there for dinner.

Liuzzas for the garlic infused spinach. I can eat that like Popeye.

The dust coming off the tuxedos at Mandinas is like watching Pigpen dance.

I eat both but prefer Liuzzas. Went to Katie's last week and it was kinda meh...

What is in the old Christians? The old church? I miss that place. Had the filet stuffed with oysters. Man that was good.

Redemption. I haven't been, but the chef is Greg Piccolo who was at The Bistro at the Maison de Ville Hotel for years.

You can't go wrong with either.

These are 2 of my all-time favorite local places, and amazing places to take friends from out-of-town.

Also I live <5 minutes from both.

SLIGHT edge to Liuzza's because it's more comfortable/casual. Plus frozen beers, o-rings, fried pickles, and frenchulettas.

I can't recall seeing this place mentioned here in a very long time. Has anyone eaten there recently. I thought about it, but couldn't find much on it at the time, so I punted.

OP, I also love Mandina's, but I think you're fine at either or go to both! A progressive meal would be fun.
