You'll have good tides to fish with, but there will be a shite load of people as there is every weekend. Last weekend there was a boat every 50 yards from caminada to fourchon. Get to the beach early as possible and sift through 100 trout to keep 20. It the school trout time of year.

I'll have the 24' down. Belle Pass/ East Timbalier rocks? Schoolies there as well? Close in platforms perhaps?

Only nice fish I caught this past weekend was on Elmer's island to fourchon.

Live croakers.

Absolutely no tide last weekend. Fishing was tough but we managed a nice box.

We didn't go as far as Timbalier, but we did go to a few close platforms and caught a few mangroves. There were a ton of sharks though; more sharks than I have ever seen before. We hit probably 5-6 different rigs and it was the same everywhere. We'd pull up and within minutes we'd see 10-15 sharks swimming around us and almost had one jump in the boat.

Nobody is fishing or tried out east around front of Grand Terre/Four Bayous/Coup Abel? Might hit that up but Elmer's usually produces as good as anywhere.

4 bayous area is our usual go to spot, but we ventured away from there last weekend. We have been catching a trout over there usually bigger ones than the schoolies but not in large numbers. tried the beaches out that way as well but didn't have success.

Been a weird year. But hey, we might be catching fish well into October.

Four bayous has been spotty at best although larger trout quantities have been down.
Coup Abel produces sometimes, limit one morning same conditions next and 0.
Caught a few on grand terre last weekend.
Seems like we catch 3-5 at each spot instead of 25-30 like in the past. Just keep moving and don't be afraid to hit the same spots more than once a day.
