I'm sure it's the MSRP, but is overstock.com really trying to sell it at that price today?

In all fairness the page notes that the item is out of stock. Probably just an old page.

I remember we were one of the first houses that had an HDTV. It was a big rear projection like that. It's amazing how much technology has changed. That TV is crap compared to the $400 TV I have now.

Also why people who are the earliest adopters baffle me

Just screams low IQ or desperation to be cool.

ETA: Not a personal attack on you, I just think it's useful to see things that way

Yeah, you'd think that they would delete the item from their advertising though. I brought it up because I have one sitting in my closet collecting cobwebs, I'd be happy to part with it for $100 if I could get that.

It has 1 and I know because I have this same TV in storage. I'll sell you the slightly used version for $100 bucks.

If anything breaks, it'll cost $1528.99 to fix it.

We have one that's at least 12 years old in our spare room. Thing works great. Probably gone through 3 LCD or plasmas in the main living room since we got it.

Was actually a really good TV. Used it until last year and the picture was better than a couple of flat screens I have. It would make a good Camp TV, but Overstock needs to update there inventory that shite is probably about 10-12 years old.
