Would it be possible to allow users to embed tweets?

As seen in the "Day 2 of practice" thread on the rant. I know youtube embedding would be too much trouble caused, but could it possible to allow us to use the tweet embed feature? TIA.

What's the reason this isn't allowed? This would be convenient,as demonstrated by its frequent use in the /news posts. (e.g., LINK)
