How Much Does America Owe Gay People In Reparations for Our Bigotry?

I was reading the entitlements thread and was thinking about how many hundreds of billions of dollars a year are spent on the poor and how much of that was set up in the 1960's during the War on Poverty. Much of the rationale behind the War on Poverty involved helping correct historic economic wrongs because of discrimination.

So, what about Gay people? How much money have they lost over the years by not being able to get married? How many jobs have they not gotten or would have been fired from if people had known they were Gay?

What can we do to make this right? How do we address this historic injustice? How can we address Hetero-Privilege from an historic-oppressive sense? We are changing the law. Now, how do we bring about true equality?
