I plan on getting a new deer rifle set up this year before the season. The scope will be going on a Tikka T3 270 wsm; I will be hunting large game with it as well. What would be the best bang for the buck on a scope, lets keep it under around 600(I'm going to wait until after i graduate college to drop 2,000 on a Swarovski)

Look through a Vortex (Viper psl series) before you buy anything...the best glass in that price range and actually better than most priced higher

I like the Meopta Meopro in the $600 price range. I just put one on my 7 mag.

Leupold has served me well. Even the Vari-X II is a decent scope if you can't get the III.

everything everyone said is correct. the Nikon Buckmaters are a great little scope for around 300 bucks. Just get a 50 mm if you are going to hunt big game

Nikon Monarch

Sportoptics.com currently has the Monarch an additional $100 off. A 4x16x50 mm Monarch 3 is only $425.00.

That is a great buy.
