So have had our current DirecTV set up in the house for about seven years. Wires running all over the outside of the house. Getting ready to re-do the siding on the house and considering a re-do with wireless equipment. Any cons to this from anyone that has tried it? TIA

Wireless is never as reliable as wired, it's vulnerable to interference, half-duplex...Would it be possible to get wires run under the siding before they attach it?

You still have to run the wires to the master box and it has to be on all the time

You still need wires from the dish to the main box
