Would you buy it?

My iphone 4 just went into the crapper, want to hold out for the new one but dont think i could last that long. Im due for an upgrade so I could get this 5s for $50.

It's not a bad deal for a 5S. I'm assuming it will have some minor cosmetic flaws, but $50 on contract isn't bad.

It will most likely retail for $99 on contract once the iphone 6 comes out.

ETA: just read the fine print to understand how the warranty works. I'm guessing Apple's one year warranty is out the window since the phone is refurbished.

Nothing wrong with refurbs as far as I'm concerned.

While the 5S will be a big upgrade from the 4, it's still a relatively small screen compared to the 6. I'd try to hold out if you can. Here's a link to AT&T's no contract phones LINK You should check with their customer service first for the details, but I don't see why you couldn't buy one of these and have it set up for your current account.

Im actually using my work phone, Galaxy s4 for the time being. I just dont like it, dont have any of my contacts or anything..
and youre right, i dont want to waste my upgrade on a 5s when the 6 is about to come out and the 5s will just drop in price..

Sync your contacts to a Gmail account and then you'll easily be able to have them on any mobile OS.

Bought the wife and my parents a refurb, neither have any trouble. I will probably get one for me when I am up for an upgrade. Nothing wrong with saving a little money.
