Are there any decent satellite Internet providers for gaming?

My mom has a house out in the country I may be able to rent for much cheaper than I pay at the house I'm in now (plus it's a nicer house), only thing is it is about a mile outside of where cable companies will run (my roommate works for charter so we get every channel plus 60 Mbps Internet for 19 bucks). Are there any satellite providers that can actually provide a decent connection speed for gaming? I realize I won't get anything close to 60 Mbps, but does anyone have any suggestions on which company provides the fastest unlimited Internet?
I've seen companies like excede with 15 Mbps, but it looks like that has a max of 25 gb per month. I have no idea how much I use now, probably a ton with torrenting/YouTube, so I assume something like this is out of the question.
Any GB posters have to use satellite Internet for online gaming?

Your download speed will be decent enough but that doesn't matter as much for gaming as ping does.
The signal has to travel too far with satellite internet to give you a decent ping.
When you press a button it will have to travel from your satellite to the one in the sky then back down to earth before it registers. It will be lag on top of lag.

Yea that makes sense. It's been years, but I feel like when I lived with my mom and would play COD or something, it never seemed that bad. I remember playing for hours on end and not having any issues. But, my sister and husband live in the house I'm thinking about moving in when they leave, and her husband says it's unplayable most of the time.

Satellite ping is measured in seconds.
My parents have gen4 hughesnet though, and I did a speedtest at their house last year. I recall the ping being better than usual for satellite. And by better than usual, I mean around 600-700ms.

Yeah, the signal has to make a 100,000 mile round trip to work, so it takes a while
