I think he is gonna be pretty solid.

Its rare for receivers to go off in their first year, but I think Evans is gonna get a lot of balls.

He has great hands and is massive.

What says the board?

I think he's money. McCown is fully capable of getting he and VJax the ball and Lovie Smith will give him all the chances he needs. Not to mention if their TE situation works itself out. The Bucs will be much better this year IMO. Their defense will improve as well

Colston had 70 catches for 1038 yards and 8 TDs his rookie season. I'll take that production any day

Evans is like a mini-Graham to me.

He's not as big, not as quick, not as strong. But they both bring their basketball backgrounds to the gridiron, understanding body position on passes and high pointing the football.

I'm not sure it clicks right away for Evans, but in time there's no doubt in my mind that it will.

Tampa's receivers are gonna be nice with Jackson, Evans, and the new TE. They'll give smaller corners fits. If McCown can have a same type year like last, they'll be tough.

He's going first overall in my keeper league.

Of course we voted on a 20 point bonus for every pushoff catch made.

Agree with the board.

He is gonna get a ton of opportunities from the get go.

I'm all in on Evans.

As a general rule I don't take rookie WRs. I suppose if he were available really really late I would draft him....but that won't be the case.

I don't either, but I'm making an exception with Evans.

Rail thin, true freshman Rashard Robinson with only 8 weeks of practice shut him down.

Won't draft him until late or pay more than $1 in an auction for him.

I took him late in the Regulars draft. I'm not expecting much but I'll jeep him on the bench and see how it plays out.

Yep.

...but Bama's D isn't set up to play vs HUNH type offenses with elusive QBs.

I think his 200 yards (aside from the 90+ yard TD) was more of an inability to stop Manziel than Evans.

I don't think it matters either way, but Evans made Manziel look a lot better than he really performed that day.

And Manziel was terrible in the lsu game. He had a hurt wrist or something and his accuracy was way off
