From me and Adam Caplan:
Cincinnati and Bengals QB Andy Dalton reached agreement on a 6-year, $115 million contract, per two sources.

Details and structure of Andy Dalton's deal will be critical. But he now is tied to Cincinnati for next six seasons.

Ol Red got paid!

You gotta pay the guy.

Even though he is slightly above average at best, 10-15 ranked guy IMO

Arent better options out there.

Can't wait for Flacco and Dalton to continue the ongoing battle of the most overrated and overpaid QB this season.

Dalton is very replaceable. You don't give 115 mil to a guy that you changed your whole offense to make him a game manager for.

Good grief. Dalton is no good and could easily be replaced, I'm surprised Cincy did this.

My only guess is that this deal is structured like Kapernicks deal in that it's basically a bunch of 1 year deals consecutively and cutting ties is relatively easy

AFC QBs that are better:

Brady
Ben
Luck
Manning
Rivers

I would say those 5 are better in the AFC

People might want to put Flacco or Alex Smith in there but Dalton outplayed Flacco last season.

So basically any starting quarterback with a pulse deserves around $20 mill
