I almost picked Ramsey and was stupidly hoping for him to be there at pick 30. 
I was all aboard the Gerrard train last year in fantasy. Not as sure this year. However, a fun fact is that Gerrard scored 48 of his 200+ points off penalties going 10/11. (10 x 5 - 2 x 1). If he gets the minutes and Brendan Rodgers' offense repeats, then Gerrard is sure to be a quality pick.

I was hesitant given the fact that I already have one 'Pool player. Having Gerrard AND Sturridge could pan out nicely....but it could backfire. If Ramsey was there for my pick, I was taking him. Seeing that he wasn't, I felt like my hand was almost forced given last season's performance.

I do want to bring up the point that you can only draft players who were available at the start of the draft.
For example, if Lavezzi joins Liverpool, then he cannot be drafted until the supplemental draft.
