Rattlesnake skin
Posted by FelicianaTigerfan on 8/3/14 at 7:02 pm00
Killed a 4 1/2' timber rattler today. My son is begging for a hatband for his cowboy hat. I skinned the snake out. Now what?
I took stick pins and pinned it to cardboard

Pics? I'd love a mounted rattler all coiled up mouth open fangs out.

Going check hog trap about noon I found it crossing the trail. Put my truck tire on its head pinning it down and used a brush hook to seperate it from the body. Cut the rattles off and chunked it. On my way out I decided to grab it and do something with it. ( First thought was cook it cause I'm fat)
Really easy to skin out. Will do this will all the rattlers and copperheads from now on
