Les Miles gets emotional about Baton Rouge (video in link)

LSU head football coach Les Miles is entering his tenth year at the helm of one of the most successful college football programs in the country.

On Wednesday of this week he talked about his time in Baton Rouge and what the community means to him and his family.

Here's what he said:

"I think all of us, look at our families and insist that they have the experience we want them to have.

We insist that they have a chance at success, we insist that they work hard, we insist that there are opportunities in this community that allow our family to... without your direction, because you're direction is imperfect, because there's nothing that I can do, because I'm off into football.

I turn to U-High or Catholic or the Patriot organization , where Macy is a fast pitch softball pitcher, and I insist that they have a great experience, and I want you to know something...

This community has treated myself and my family so well, for ten years, that I am in your debt.

And it's imperitive that this community, and through these style of organizations, and the youth coach, the educational professional that works at the many schools throughout our community, do it just the way they've been doing it.
God bless you, I tell you...and when someone says where are you from, I say with great Pride, Louisiana.
