PP7 is better man to man but Sherman is the better zone cb. It says a lot when a player like Julio Jones says PP7 is a better corner than Sherman

While I think PP7 is better, I don't think Julio is the best to ask. He's seen Peterson way more and you'd expect him to go with the SEC guy.

It helps when you have the best D in the league as your other 10 players..makes you look better. Especially when you're a zone player like Sherman.

I'm not so sure. It's hard to compare because you have to take the way they play into account. Sherman only covers one side of the field 100% of the time so he only sees a top WR like 30% of the time. Peterson is a true #1 who follows the other teams best receiver around.... Closer to 60-70% of the time. Stats are gonna be skewed by that right off the bat so they're probably off the table.
That isn't even taking into account the players around them. I'm inclined to think Arizona has a better pass rush but there is no denying that Seattle has the BEST SAFETIES in football next to Sherman who can easily bail him out.
The only way you're gonna get a real answer is to ask players who've been covered by them..

I have never seen a fan base quite like LSU's. You guys have to be the most insecure collection of people I have seen. Quick to bash players in the league from Bama if they are not all NFL and will go to stops to prove that an LSU grad is the best beyond comparison. Why can't you all just enjoy the game? Sweet jesus

The only people that know that are the tards here that try to go out of their way to be objective. Sherman is a beast but he can't do the things that Peterson can do. Peterson could absolutely do what Sherman does but you would never ask a player as talented to sit on one side of the field all game. Most players around the league sing Peterson's praises but it's here that you hear all of these things about him just being a good athlete and not an elite corner.
