"What if I told you that the version of history you were taught in school was heavily revised to fit your own nations agenda while hiding its crimes. And in doing so fostered an unrealistic sense of false patriotism used to manufacture your allegiance to a corporate entity masquerading as your government?"

Spot on? Or paranoid hippie bs?

History is written by the victors for sure, but I think that if we were indeed taught a revisionist history, the physical evidence must have been destroyed because there are plenty of people who would love to paint the USA in a negative light. I think we're taught a rather near sighted version of history but I don't think we've covered up any unknown atrocities.

Everytime I see you post, I think about the time you argued with a poster for saying shaggy was a terrible coworker, because you didn't realize the thread was a Scooby-Doo joke.

You would be a traitor. George Washington really did cop to chopping down that cherry tree. 'Murica.

I think it's true to some extent in every country. With North Korea an example of the most extreme cases.

That's a little extreme. It's ok to be a skeptic

And he would've gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for those meddling kids
