Holy shite. I just ordered some of these. I've been shaving with a double edge razor for a few months now, and I love Wilkinson Sword blades. I decided to give Feather a shot. It feels like day one again. I hacked the shite out of myself. Three bleeders. I don't think I've had three bleeders in the last two months combined.

Is it worth going at it again or should I cut my losses now?

I've found that Feather quality has recently varied by pack. Even within the same order.

And i can't use Wilkinson's, they always tear my face up.

That's why options are a good thing.

I've been DE since father's day....i started with Astra and didn't think it could get better. I then tries the Swords and it was even better. I'm just about finished with my first feather blade and I'm not sure I'll ever use anything else.

I guess different things work for different people. Frustrating to say the least.

I think I'm going to trash this specific blade and give it another shot tomorrow. If I cut myself again, I'm pulling the Swords back out.

Feather=veeery sharp!!! Cut the shite out my face when starting. Best suggestion SLOW DOWN & back way off on the pressure. Also dont let your mind wander like you usually can allow. You'll be sorry if you do. Currently using medpreps but might try Feathers again.

Can't use the feathers. Something with the angle of the grind or something.

2nd shave with a feather blade is always better IMO.

I've always had an adjustment phase every time I've switched razors.

Just switched to Feather. Used to use a mix of Sharks & Astra. Really like the Feather so far. Only cut myself twice in about 8 shaves with them - not too bad of a learning curve, I think.

I only use Feather blades, but they are ninja sharp and you have to be careful.

I ditched all that frufru boutique money pit shaving rig stuff and went back to Mach 3 Sensitive w/Nivea Sensitive Gel and it's been the most money saving and time saving thing I've done in years.

I still mix it up depending on growth and speed needed. Sometimes I get a weeks growth (heavy beard) between shaves and have found that a double edge just doesn't do the work I need.
