but, but he has no experience

quote:

Fans of the neurosurgeon-turned-conservative firebrand are celebrating news released by the Washington Times Friday morning. Ben Carson, who has been the subject of a widespread push to compel him to seek the presidency in 2016, has reportedly taken decisive action pointing to his intention to throw his hat into the ring.

In an interview with the Times, Carson explained that he has spent the past couple of days hunkered down in Florida with supporters, noting that he emerged with the name of a man chosen to lead his fledgling campaign.

I think Carson would be great for this country. He may not be ready for the big dance but definetly as a solid running mate.

Rand/Carson ftw

So did Obama.

His qualifications are literally the same as some lesser known politician, doctor or random who has the same beliefs and positions he does. Yet conservatives are so enamored with this guy. Why?

Can't go wrong with a clean African American!

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," Biden said.

lol ... so the "same old same old" is what we need more of, instead of someone who's just good enough to be a "running mate" ...

fanfrickingtastic ...

and solid accomplishment in something besides whoring for votes

and unquestioned intellect

and of course he is an articulate clean good looking black man = Biden's kind of guy.

I'd be thoroughly surprised if he made it to South Carolina. He doesn't 't seem to have a touch for politics. That matters whether you want it to or not.

I think he is a fake conservative just like Colon Powell was.

What made you think of comparing those two. They don't have much in common (education, career, etc).

Oh wait.

IMO, not being a career politician is a GOOD thing for President.

I hate career politicians because they are already bought by lobbyists. I like guys like Carson who aren't part of the system and might be more in touch with everyday Americans. He can surround himself with good personnel to help with the job as President.
