Kindle Fire HDX - Screen Replacement

My daughter dropped her two-month old Kindle and it cracked the screen despite having a full case around it. Amazon doesn't support or service Kindles after the warranty runs out. Any suggestions on where I can have the screen replaced?

True. I shouldn't have confused the issue. Unlike Apple, I can't seem to find any options for a cracked screen and Amazon isn't much help at all. They just want me to purchase a slightly discounted refurb ($300). They suck and I wish we had just sprung for an Apple.
Anyway, if anyone knows where I can get a Kindle Fire HDX screen replaced, I'd appreciate the advice. TIA
