Where to eat tonight (nola)?

friends want to go to a late dinner (9ish) to eat but this couple is sort of on the cheap side... looking for a good restaurant with entree prices in the teens. normally with this couple we wind up at new orleans food and spirits or zeas, but would like to venture out to something different. any suggestions, definitely want seafood and although these cheapskates would probably be all for red lobster/landrys id like something better

Well I was going to suggest Pizza Domenica until you threw out the seafood thing. Peche would be ideal but doubt you'll get a table. Maybe try out Kingfish in the quarter or Basin on Magazine. Otherwise "seafood for $15 bucks" doesn't really exist in quality format.

joey k's was awesome. no wait, cool place. the eggplant napoleon was probably the biggest hit but everything we had was great.

Glad it worked out. I'm just a little bummed because my wife and I had fried some oysters and shrimp, plus prepared some etouffee' for you guys, and we were going to invite you to our house. We're only a few blocks from Joey K's and less expensive.
