Friend confided in me that he's having an affair (updates in OP)

Last night a good friend of mine confided in me that he's having an affair with another married woman. Said it started due to a lack of intimacy at home. I know he and his wife have been going through a hard patch with a toddler and her going back to work but I didn't think he would seek it elsewhere.
What would you do? Advise him to stop? Or just file that info away and play the charade?
Eta:
Per the conversation with him here is a look into his mind
1) He is not in love with this new woman. He just enjoys having sex with her and because they are in the same industry they have similar things to talk about. He won't leave his wife.
2) He believes that after the baby his wife just shut everything down. She's a stay at home mom and their kid is over a year old but she doesn't cook, doesn't go to the gym is antisocial etc. now these are the excuses of a cheater so take with a grain of salt but she may have had some depression issues after the baby.
3) He knows it's wrong and that he shouldn't be doing this needs to stop but he's planning to stretch it out for as long as possible. And the other woman doesn't have kids.
All that being said he's a pretty nice guy.

Or just file that info away and play the charade?

He's undermining the future trust of his kid pulling that shite. Either work it out with the wife or get a divorce. But he should lie about his feelings or his life.
Edit: sorry forgot this was the OT. Pics of wife and mistress to decide haha?

I'm a woman and I'd want to know ... no one told my mom when it was my father cheating on her. At the same time, IDK if it's any of your business??? Sucks to be in that situation.

Stay out of it.
And then frick his wife
And then frick his wife

Sounds like your friend's wife is game now. What's she look like?

You can't continue to be friends with this guy unless you tell him to get his head out of his arse and stop. Married with a young kid, very selfish to be foiling around, I don't care how much he is or isn't getting at home.

Just what we need......more broken home kids

Are you married? It could be with your wife and this was his way of letting you know

I don't think any of the options included "tell his wife"
I'd tell him to think hard about the situation that he's brining upon himself.
That or just stfu, and stay out of it.

you got to take that shite to the grave.
I'm almost certain that's what my wife is doing.

Sounds like she isn't giving it up, is that what you are looking for?

Continue to be his friend but advise him to stop and also ask him not to involve you. Like needing you for an alibi or something.

file that info away
Ain't my business, and it has no bearing on my friendship with the person. As long as they're still a good friend to me, I couldn't give frick all what they do otherwise.
If the spouse was a good friend of mine, maybe it would be different, but I have yet to have a friend whose SO is anything more than their SO and casual friend to me.

Bingo. If he's a true friend you need to tell him to stop or be done with him.
And tell him I said he's a piece of shite.
