“Due to the current security situation in Tel Aviv, U.S. Embassy Tel Aviv remains open but is operating at reduced staffing until further notice, and has canceled routine visa application processing and American Citizen services,”

Gee, what a surprise. Much like the FAA blocking US flights from going to Ben Gurion because one rocket came within a mile of the airport.
I wonder if Israel will roll out the "Well, I guess we need to ramp up our offensive" card again, like they did with the FAA ban.

This isn't visa applications *going* to Israel, it is visa applications by individuals in Israel attempting to go to the US.

If the Dems thought that the Israelis could become Dem voters, they'd be trying to set up offices to pre-vet people for asylum like they're attempting to do in Honduras, considering that they're claiming Central America is so rife with violence that it justifies allowing the illegals to stay.
It certainly shows the priorities of this administration.

I wonder who in the State Department came up with this idea? Although after the failure to have sufficient security in Benghazi the State Department probably wants to be extra cautious. You never know when some Israelis might object to some video put on the internet and storm the embassy.
