Restaurant Cypress Reviews?

My wife and I are going tomorrow night. It seems like this place gets favorable reviews but is often forgotten. Anybody been recently and have any favorite go to dishes?

I ate there a couple months ago. Let me look at the menu to refresh my memory, but it was a good meal for sure.

Appetizer we had was the crawfish and crab meat parma, really enjoyed that. I almost ordered a second one it was so good 
I had the potato soup, and it was decent. Nothing special though.
Entree was the slow roasted duck. It was definitely a winner.

Last time I went, which was a couple months ago, it was definitely an off night. Nothing really bad but not great either. Every other time has been great.

just an fyi, it seems like it would be a quiet place but it can get loud.

Great yatty place in the heart of Metry. I've never had a bad meal there. Stay with the NOLA creole neighborhood restaurant type dishes for best results.
