They need to come up with a face saving way for him to quit.

It is obvious he does not want the job and is doing nothing but hurting democrats.

Biden could rally the troops perhaps and save the mid term election.

this is all insanity

this would be the one thing that might actually fracture support of the AA community

i don't know what it would take for a party to urge a sitting president to resign, but obama isn't in the same universe as that behavior

I don't think that's obvious. I'm still not convinced he won't try and seize a third term for himself.

You don't remember 1974.

If this IRS foolishness were to be traced all the way to the top, it most definitely falls in that same universe.

I don't recall anyone saying that about Bush. And when you consider Obama has been having agencies such as DHS and the EPA buying up all kinds of ammo, armored vehicles and drones and in the past has spoke of having his own private security force I don't think it's retarded at all.

I don't remember 1974 either, as I wasn't born, but I've watched plenty of documentaries, and I recall a "smoking gun" tape of the President's voice literally telling Haldeman to tell the CIA to tell the FBI to cover up the Watergate burglary before the Republicans were finally willing to go Old Yeller on him. This was after months and months of WH-level revelations that were already excruciatingly more detailed than anything we've gotten with the IRS.

So when you get a tape, or an email, of Obama telling Jack Lew to tell the CIA to tell the FBI to cover up the IRS investigation, then we can talk resignation. Until then, this getting anywhere near the President is Republican jerkoff fantasyland.

I think he wants to push across as much social change as the American people are willing to stomach. He doesn’t want to lead or endure the responsibilities of the office but he does want to change America. He’s not stepping down.

What planet are you on suggesting this? Do you want Biden as president?

I have nothing but admiration for them. They have maintained party discipline exceptionally well.

I think he would much rather play golf and appear a some hand picked gathering of supporters.

He and Reid have not even tried to pass any major legislation since ACA.

I think he is such a radical he will never compromise on any bills and thus he is dead in the water.

He is detached. Oh I am sure he would not want to resign. There needs to be some ego stroking reason. Maybe they can get the UN to offer him the top job or something and then convince him how important it is he becomes the spokesman for the world or some crap like that.

I will say this his sins are looking much worse than Nixon's and I am not so sure the republicans are taking the right strategy by falling all over themselves saying they will not impeach him.

Obama will never resign because that would mean he'd have to admit failure. Please give me one example in his life of when he admitted he was wrong about anything. (And his view on gay marriage "evolving" doesn't count - nobody believed he was against it to start with)

I would anticipate this is directed at the OP and not myself. Because there is no way I want President Biden.
