I was honestly very dissapointed that we weren't playing there. I wanted to see our students respond to the "Eat Sh@t! F$%k You!" chant with a little STTD;B magic.

Sorry that we're too busy building new athletic facilities across campus, in large part to the revenue we receive every year from the game.
I'd bet you good money a home-and-home with them if our AD didn't have to donate 35 million to the academic side. Thanks, Jindal <3
eta: this is assuming he's being 100% truthful. God knows Wisconsin needs more publicity. You really never hear about them. Telling everyone that a major SEC program is "scared" to come to Madison is a nice recruiting pitch

If I am correct, doesn't about 35 million a year of state tax payer money go to that BILLIONAIRE owner of the New Orleans Saints just to keep them in New Orleans?

Afraid of what? Wisconsin has lost its last three trips to the Rose bowl. They're soft. And their fans are complete alcoholics who root for the wrong team by the fourth quarter. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Wisconsin is over rated. They hail from the big ten, and Michigan State is the only respectable team that conference has. Come August 30th they'll get a snoot full, speed ,power and skill unlike anything they'll see the rest of the year.

What is your point?
New Orleans is a tiny market. The Saints are a huge positive for the state. Sounds like a good deal to me
They are paying rent money for the property that was rotting under their watch. It is good for the city and the state that something was done with that building

if they said play after September they would be right, no SEC team would play a legitimate program in the North after September.
