Does anyone here pay for draft kits?

Or do you just rely upon the free news and updates available on the web? Are these things worth the $15-20 they charge for them?

all of info one needs is easily accessible. It would be dumb to pay for anything in regards to fantasy football

$8 magazine is as far as I'll go. Some good mags like Lindy's and Athlon dive into more stuff than you can get online so I wouldn't say all info is at the ready.

I think what I'm mainly interested in is trying to find something that can give me custom projections based on my custom league scoring settings. Would be helpful

I'm pretty sure ESPN, and other sites I'm sure, have projections based on standard and PPR. I know they don't have projections for half-point PPR though.

i bought the rotoworld season pass last year (split it between 4 people), you can edit the scoring and its gives some good rankings. wasn't impressed with the weekly projections though

When you have experts like Kashonly, Gyno, and Leslie Earl posting here, there is no way I'm wasting my money paying for sub-optimal options on other sites.

That's it, I want a weekly projection thread made by these guys. I can't imagine the chaos that it'll cause

FFToday has an excellent Draft Buddy program. I use it every year, its like 15 bucks.
I'll second this. It's an Excel file and makes it a breeze to keep track of players selected, etc. at a live draft. Pretty sure you can input your league's scoring system for player rankings, too.
I don't necessarily NEED it, but I enjoy it enough to spend a few bucks on it every year.
