Should TD acknowledge Posters who break stories?

At the bottom of the page?
I've noticed recently with a lot of the stories they now say Larry Leo or TD Staff Reporter when it was another poster who first linked said article.
Tigerdroppings used to acknowledge the poster who originally posted the article as it was a link directly to the post.

Especially since they want linked and paraphrased content when we bring stuff from other sites

When they first started linking the articles at the bottom of each page. It was always a direct link to the post itself which was an acknowledgment to the poster imo

They could possibly link the thread where it's being discussed so you can see what is being said on the subject...
