Currently residing in Wisconsin and dear lord

There are, as you may imagine, Badger fans everywhere up in these parts. They love their Packers, Badgers, and football every bit as much as we love our Tigers and Saints. They sport the colors on their cars, on their clothes, and in their homes with all the fervor of any of us. But Christ almighty, are we as cocky as they are about the first game of the season?
I have yet to meet one of these people -- literally, not one single person -- who feels Wisconsin has a snowball's chance in hell of losing to LSU. You read that correctly.
They feel this way mainly due to their running game. They laugh when I talk up Buga & Co. I'm in enemy territory for sure, but I just thought I'd let everyone know that from the average Wisconsin fan's point of view, LSU gets ZERO respect.
I'd chalk this up to delusional optimism of another sort, but they also say they don't have a snowball's chance in hell of making the playoffs. They just know they're going to beat LSU.
That said, does anyone here care to venture their take on the final score? I'll share the responses with the Badger faithful up here. Maybe convert one or two of them to Buga Nation
I say we pull away late for a nice 31-17 win that was much closer than the score indicates.

Well, you should let them know we kick arse in Jerry World and Les has a great record in season openers.

I've noticed that, man. The message board folks seem to be of a completely different ilk. IRL good god I've never seen such a confident fan base about one game. fwiw the SEC hate up here is at a fever pitch.

I know it seems obvious that they say Wisky will win, but you should hear the scores they're predicting, essentially it won't even be close. Wisconsin in a walk. They're treating this game as their ticket to the playoffs with their soft schedule. They're gonna shock the world. Have some more cheese.
