Do we have a legit shot at Kirk Merritt? I thought he was all Texas A&M at one point but now the crystal ball on 24/7 is showing LSU. I would love to land this guy he's extremely versatile and let's just say if Broussette does flip to texas which I hope he does not and I don't think he will, this guy can play RB for us. Thoughts & Opinions?

I think you answered your own question.

if brosette flipped to UT, then yes we would have a spot at Rb to offer him, and I think he would listen.

I really don't think so. Although I do agree with the situation stated above possibly changing things.

I didn't know Brosette was a possibility for UT. I hope he stays a tiger.

i also think this kid could make a good receiver, a Jarvis Landry type at slot but a bit thicker.Kid has blazing speed and he can really turn on the after burners

But is Merritt a RB in our system? Maybe he'd be a change of pace guy?

Merritt would be a monster slot receiver.

LSU going to take Brossette, Guice, and Fournette not going to take a fourth tailback. He also hasnt attended any LSU camps. Looks like a Texas a&M and auburn battle.
