time for another crusade

Seems like its time. Muslims are not peaceful folks. Simply put, we cannot compromise with them because their "faith" does not allow it.
We should take the war to them. Wipe them off the face of the planet before they do it to us.
There is no "living in peace with these folks, they won't have it.
I'd start with bombing Mecca!

No. We should just pull our troops out of every Muslim country. Then POTUS should get on international TV and with a baseball hat with slips of paper in it. On each slip of paper would be the name of a major Muslim population center. Next time the US or one of it's allies is hit by a terrorist attack I will randomly select a name from the hat. That city will cease to exist. If there is another terrorist attack after that I will dump the hat. So start policing your own or you won't even have a religion left to fight for.

Seems like a good idea. Make the world a more peaceful place and eliminate overpopulation in one fell swoop.

Worse than being afraid of NK? I don't think so at all.
The infrastructure, finances, and support that some of these terrorist groups have is pretty substantial, and it is much more feasible for a non-state actor to do something crazy, like set off a large bomb in a U.S. city.
Odds are still low, but I'd put money on being hit by an Islamic terrorist group before NK.

There couldn't possibly be a scenario the terrorist organizations would like more than this.
They would be tripping over themselves to be the first to provoke this kind of response and galvanize the entire Muslim world against the United States.

I've heard Progressives say that we simply have to accept the casualties resulting from an occasional Islamic Terror attack on our country. They say that this is the price of living in the modern world.
They point out that we tacitly accept the annual US highway death toll as a part of life. They ask, why can't we accept a similar death toll from Islamic Extremists?
I don't have a link because it's been in private conversation.
What are the thoughts on this perspective?

Yes, a bomb could go off in a major city, but the chances of being killed by a terrorist are so small that being afraid of it is the definition if moronic.
It's like being afraid of being in a mass shooting.
Yes, I'm equating people who fear being killed by a terrorist to anti-gun nuts who fear mass shootings every day.

This is the exact opinion of the Progressives to whom I refer in my previous post.
Their view is that we need to stop all of these "War on Terror" activities, because the odds of one person being harmed in a terror attack are very small.
We'd save a LOT of money if we simply accept these few thousand casualties a year from terror attacks.

Muslims are lured to the destruction of the Jews like a moth to the flame. We don't have to bomb anybody...Israel will handle that sausage making for us...because they really don't have a choice.
