I wish JR would rise from the dead and slap Bobby Ewing's pansy arse into next season, already!

Let your boy go out uptown. Hide your daughter.

Are you staying more toward Arlington or in Dallas?

Malibu Speed Zone is off 35. Top Golf, as previously suggested, is fun. Bush Museum if your family is into that kind of thing.

Will be in the high 80's/low 90's most of the week. This summer hasn't been bad at all.

You could go over to Ft Worth since you will be halfway there from Arlington. Check out the Stockyards LINK. They have a cattle drive twice a day that is kitschy but fun. You could hit one of my favorite mexican food spots just down the street from the stockyards... El Asadero. It is a little hole in the wall but really good. Ft Worth has some great Art Museums. The Amon Carter is free and focuses mostly on American Western art (Cowboy and Native American) like Remington and Russell. The Museum of Modern Art is great but you have to be in a modern art mood.

Downtown Dallas. The new Perot Museum of Art and Science is fricking incredible but get your tickets in advance. Seriously. This is awesome. Huge dinosaur exhibits, incredible science discoveries. 2-3 hours of awesomeness.

Then, walk across the street and go the Dallas Aquarium, and then the 6th Floor Museum where Kennedy was killed. When done, walk over to Hooters. Your kids will vote you Father-of-the-Year!

Perot museum was fun, went two weeks ago. Top Golf is awesome. There's some fast arse indoor go carts in Arlington by the ball parks.
