Survey: Do you put salt on your Watermelon?

Yes or No? If not, have you at least heard of people doing this?

I do put salt on watermelon sometimes and thought this was normal.

I do sometimes and it's great on cantaloupe, also. And, lemons. A salted lemon quarter is so good.

I know lots people who do though.

I resent that watermelon and racists sayings go together.
No black likes watermelon more than this white

interesting! I've never tried salt on any other fruit. Mriluv looked at me like I was crazy when I put salt on watermelon the other day!

Try salt on a cantaloupe and get back to us. I agree that cracked black pepper on cantaloupe is good, as well. I've put that on watermelon, too, when I use it in salads.

Just use watermelon slices instead of tomato slices. Delicious.
