I used to do this all the time as a kid. I never see anyone flying a kite.

My 4 year old loves it. In fact, I'm glad you brought this up. Going to pack one for our beach trip later this week.

Fly kites with my kids on windy days when I have them and room to do it.

Had a blast at the beach. Lots of wind and no power lines.

They absolutely love it. We have a nice, sturdy 3-d dragon kite at Least 3 feet long

My brother has a big arse kite that he brings to the beach. Two handles to fly it. It will lift and pull you with the right wind. Ton of fun

I bought a kite this past weekend. Cheaper than a RC plane and it's the same to my little kid anyway.

I'm pretty sure airlines aren't allowed to discriminate against Jewish passengers.

I flew a kite about 2 years ago while playing kickball. It was pretty awesome.

I've never, in my life, flown a kite. What's the appeal? It just seems kind of boring. Someone put into words what it's like. Enlighten me.

It's pretty badass. If you get a good one you can tie a big runner on the bottom and float that fricker up about 1000 feet in the air. My Dad used to shred old towels and tie them together to make the kite stable. Took me 3 hours to reel it in though.
