Can anyone advise whether there is a bb or pellet that will not scratch my paint job when I rain hell down on these bitches? Ordinarily, I'm a good shot, but I plan on drinking on the balcony while I wait them out.

Get a high fps airsoft gun. That should not damage the truck but have the intended impact on the cat.

Super Soaker water gun. Add some liquid crab boil for a little extra kick.

I would think the cat's claws would do more damage when struck with the bb, than the actual bb itself.

Get you an animal trap or two, put small can of wet cat food in it, and place it under or beside truck. Catch them bastards and take them on a ride never to be seen again.
Had to do that a lot when we lived in Baton rouge to keep them out of my boat. this stupid woman down the street fed every stray in a 2 sq mile area.

There is only one answer. Colt 1911 Co2 Powered Pistol is a full scale model of its World War II brother. The pistol shoots at up to 360 feet per second and features a blow back that delivers life like recoil when shooting. The high-quality replica has a full metal body with an adjustable hop-up for better accuracy

quote:Yeah, my neighbors cats were frequently on our vehicles. I've been plotting to take them out for some time now, but they're down to 1 cat and I've seen it killing moles and rats in my yard. I guess it's earned its keep. Still wish the fricker would stay off the vehicles though

Cats by my old house were nuts. There was a lady two houses down that was a cat hoarder. I tried the antifreeze, but they never ate it. Eventually ended up trapping the things and bringing them miles away over the levee. She got pissed when she saw my traps and her cats kept disappearing, so she just got more cats. I ended up calling the SPCA, they took the cats, and social services made her leave the house. Eventually a hot chick bought it and all was well.
All in all, I think I trapped around 10 or 12 cats. Only one made it back(about 3 miles and across an interstate), and idk what happened to the rest. OP, if you relocate them to the woods, just make sure they are 5+ miles away or they'll come back.

I've got the Winchester Model 11 version.....works well but isn't worth a damn for the raccoons.......hit em square in the head at 20ft and they run off but doesn't seem to really hurt them.....Little bastids tear up the garden and the bird feeders.

As a cat owner I can't stand other owners that let their cat roam the neighborhood.

I remember a product in the old Fingerhut catalog that was designed just for cats getting on vehicles. It was essentially a square pad that you laid across the hood. When a cat jumped on the pad or stepped on it, the pad would shock the cat. It was battery powered and guaranteed to break a cat from getting on a vehicle. Best I remember, the pad was about 3' x 3'. Don't know if anybody still makes it or not? Fingerhut went out of business several years ago, I think? Google it and see if you can find one of these pads? I've dispatched many a cat the old fashion way for way less than getting up on my truck. But that in itself is reason enough in my book. Good luck!

Cats on a vehicle piss me off to no end. I noticed a few marks on mine the other day. I bought the gamo whisper pellet rifle. It comes with a scope and is pretty damn accurate, not to mention it shoots about 1200 FPS. a few days later i looked out the door and a cat was on the bed side of my truck. One shot to the head and he dropped. My nighbor, who happens to be hot, has a cat. she saw me go pick it up and chunk it in a trash bag. I thought she was going to be pissed, but she actually thanked me. apparently the same cat had been on her car earlier.

I've heard putting a rubber snake on the hood will keep cats off. Anyone ever try that?
