I got takeout from The Sammich last night. I called in and tried to order the lobster sammich, bbq shrimp sammich, deviled eggs, and fries. They were out of the deviled eggs and lobster. So I tried to order the rabbit...they were out of the rabbit. So I ordered the duck...success! ...or so I thought. I get to the place to pick up my food and the girl working the bar says they ran out of duck. So I order the oyster, bacon, and brie sammich. Of course...my other sandwich and fries are already made and getting cold while I have to wait for my oyster. Finally get all my food and leave.

Fries were meh but the garlic mayo was great. Sammiches were pretty good even though not what I wanted. And the girl working the counter was pretty cute. I'll go back but definitely will eat there, but I will walk out if they don't have what I want again.

They never have the damn deviled eggs. It's a shame, too, because they sound tasty.

The lobster sandwich was pretty good. The brussels sprouts and chicken livers are too good to pass up, IMO.

I've posted before that running out of items seems to be a problem there. They need to figure that out.

Its tough to screw up garlic mayo. It would make my shoe taste good.

The only time I went there they were out of half the menu.

It was during Hogs for the Cause and half their staff was there, so I gave them a pass.

Seems like a trend.

So they were out of all the stuff that actually sounds like it might be good, but no worries because the mayonnaise was good?

Time to upgrade what gives you wood bro.

Yeah I had to go through a couple items before I got to one they had in stock. Took forever and was expensive, but it was good.

Monday....
I've been several times and haven't been forced to change my order. Lucky I guess.

That's too bad, it's really good. Also, I have to eat my fries right out of the fryer or I don't order them.

I would definitely give them another try, order a damn beer and eat there.

To be fair he said the sandwiches weren't bad, they just weren't his first choice.

I want to go there and have no issues ordering, but that seems unlikely at this point. I guess I'll just stick to my Root Beer Ham & Cheese or Club Sandwich at the GOAT po-boy shop.

The root beer ham is the only redeeming thing on the menu. But I can soak chesesi ham in barqs at home so no use for Mahoneys.

Well I can fry shrimp at home too but I still go to Guys.

Also I've tried doing the ham in the root beer thing and it didn't come out the same.
