5* ATH George Campbell to LSU picking up more steam.

He's being recruited as a safety and LSU seems to be picking up some big steam as of late. Shea is usually pretty reserved about CB's so this is good news.
ETA:he picked up another CB from the core 6 CEO to LSU today.

Yea that was some great news to read this morning, sadly it might be our only commit for a bit besides someone like Deshawn Raymond.

they said he could play quicker there than WR and I think he is open to it. He is close friends with Tolliver and the two could line up together

Basically this. Campbell seemed open to the prospect of playing safety and KT2 has been working on him about coming to LSU. He would be a great athlete back there. He has great size and speed and would really be a playmaker back there. Something we haven't had in awhile.

Reid started on one of the best defenses in the NFL and made the pro bowl,enough said.

Eric was stretched thin in 2012. He wasnt able to play like he did in 2011. Nothing against Eric because he was a great one for us but situation kinda hindered his playmaking ability.

Absolutely. It would seemingly be pretty hard to throw into a secondary featuring Toliver, Campbell, Adams, and whichever other CB you would want lol.

Eric Reid has great size and speed and was a playmaker if you ask me..so to say we havent had this in a while is laughable...he was a 1st round draft pick

like I said earlier, eric was a playmaker but was unable to exhibit that in 2012 because he was asked to do too many things to cover for loston and a freshman mills.

Campbell at safety.... You mean a 6'4" safety that runs a 4.3 40??????
