If that's what he meant, then I apologize. I read that you said he was closer to 6'9" than he was to 6'8".

Every site lists him at 6'8 and most haven't been updated in a year. Is it crazy to think he's probably grown a little bit in a years time?

We already got Ben, so him, Antonio Blakeney, and JaQuan Lyle. And Dominic Magee, but I don't think he'd count against this class.

I'm not sure we're recruiting him as hard as we once were. He's trending towards Cal.

Juco guy who visited. The only reason he's being predicted to LSU is that we're the only major school he's been to.

He is trending towards Cal, but it has nothing to with LSU not recruiting him. He's extremely high on LSU's board.

Well, considering the fact that we've got two prospects who play the same position as Brandon higher up on our board, is it really that ridiculous that we might have slowed our pursuit? Even a little? A month ago he was basically considered a lock and know it appears we have no shot. On the other hand, we're trending up for Antonio Blakeney and JaQuan Lyle. Maybe the coaches decided they like Tone and Quan more and are going after them harder.

I see where you are coming from, but we really have Blakeney at SG and Quan at PG. We also will have only 1/2 SG's on the roster after Hornsby and Gray leave. Plus Blakeney may be a 1ndone type so you need a guy like Brandon who would more likely be a longer term option.
I think LSU wants him pretty bad but he is just looking around. Going west coast is a sexy option and Cal is a good school.
