It's a shame that Mays and Simmons will never get to play in the same lineup at LSU. Both of those guys have a lot of length and basketball IQ. Would be fun to see.

Will we be hosting any recruits on the weekend of Bayou Madness? I think that's the weekend of Kentucky football game. We can use this as a recruiting tool if we can get a good turnout fan wise.

He really doesnt look terrible for a walk-on but he certainly wouldn't be playing down low as much as he did in his video. Him and Henry Shortess will make the all american walk-on team!

Haha, Brandon Eddlestone is the best walk-on. Actually garnered non garbage time minutes last year.

Illini and ok state. Dude is very hard to read and his crystal ball predictions go from 5 or 6 picks in a row to one school then 5 or 6 to another the next day

If we miss on Thomas are we not taking any post players other than Simmons or is there a back up big man I don't know about? I am assuming DP has a big Aussie we have not talked about yet.

Most of the big post player I know lsu is interested in are committed to other schools.

He spoke highly of Illinois, but according to CBS sports Oklahoma State is also in the mix. I can't imagine LSU will win any recruiting battles against OSU this year. Besides the fact that OSU has been a better program over the last 5 years or so, they would probably "negative" recruit LSU pretty hard. I doubt Butch Pierre has a lot of great things to say about LSU, and I can't imagine Hickey would give a glowing recommendation of LSU and Coach Jones.

I think Evans could be a very good 4 year player. He's someone I could certainly see on the roster and contributing.
He also fits into Coach Jones mold as a combo guard who can play multiple positions.
