Is it too early to do a preseason ranking just for fun?

I love the Tigers and I love college football. I would like to see what everyone's thoughts on the top 20 were? This is my own ranking.

1. FSU (Easy schedule)
2. Michigan State (Great defense/Easy schedule)
3. Stanford (Pac12 Champ)
4. South Carolina (SEC Champ)
5. Oklahoma (Big12 Champ)
6. Alabama (Easy Schedule)
7. Oregon
8. Ohio State (2 Losses to MichSt)
9. Baylor
10. LSU
11. UCLA
12. Auburn (Will lose 2 or 3 games)
13. Arizona State
14. Wisconsin
15. Georgia
16. Clemson
17. Miami
18. Mississippi State
19. Florida
20. Washington

Do I agree with where you ranked Bama? Yes.
Will they be actually ranked that low? Zero chance.

Good ranking. Little uneasy about State. They are on a 15 game losing streak to ranked opponents. Florida. A little high. Bounce back year for sure. I just need to see them improve before I anoint them a top 20 team again. Other than that. You're pretty spot on.

My guess at the preseason top 20... not who I think the best teams are 1-20 (I have no clue) nor where I think they finish (I have less than no clue), but where I expect them to be ranked, roughly, based off of hype so far:

1. Florida State
2. Auburn
3. Ohio State
4. Alabama
5. Oklahoma
6. Stanford
7. Michigan State
8. Oregon
9. South Carolina
10. UCLA
11. Clemson
12. Louisville
13. LSU
14. Wisconsin
15. Georgia
16. Arizona State
17. UCF
18. Oklahoma State
19. Northern Illinois
20. Texas A&M
