Why didn't Rocky grant rematches?

Black guys have to give the white guy a chance to prove he is superior, not the other way around!

I would have liked to see him and Drago fight again. They could fight again right now.

Rocky knocked Apollo into retirement. Apollo even said so in Rocky III.

Don't know about Clubber because that third fight would have brought in so much cash even Paulie wouldn't have been able to screw it up. Maybe Apollo (per Clubber's explicit taunt) wanted a piece of him first and Clubber was too scared.

Maybe the third fight did happen. They always played a little fast and loose with the timeline and the kid did age a few years between movies.

Didn't they fight at the end of Rocky 3?

Clubber quit boxing shortly after the Rocky fight. He was a power puncher who never took a hit and never had to train for endurance. When Rocky ran him ragged, he realized he would never compete without doing more cardio and laying off the buffet bars. He slowly gained fat and lost muscle until he became a Fat Albert impersonator for parties.

Rocky had no reason to fight Drago again. As announced at the beginning of the match, it wasn't a title fight. Drago was never going to fight a meaningful boxing match as he was juicing openly and like crazy. The Russians were simply creating a superhuman and used boxing as a way to showcase their invention to the world. When the Drago specimen failed, it was discontinued and placed in a box six feet in the ground.

Rocky and Tommy couldn't fight again because Tommy got aids and died.
