Going to need to replace my grill soon, want to stick with gas. Wondering if there's an actual difference or it's just good marketing?

Great for steaks or searing just about anything. If you do alot of grilling I would recommend getting one.

you in BR? If so go cook on a TEC at ShoppersChoice. They are awesome, but I like to call them red meat grills. There is not very much low end heat.

I purchased a Blaze infrared grill from Shoppers' Choice. Haven't used it - yet, but planning to do so very soon.

I have used other infrared grills and I like them very much. High, hot and fast.

Takes some trial and error converting from direct fire.

I thought about getting one this year but they seemed to defeat the purpose of a grill which is the flame. What's the benefit?

I love it

I use a small box to put wood chips in to get the smoke flavor
