OT Trash Level Needed - Bridal Shower Used For Promoting MLM Scheme

My wife went to a bridal shower that one of the friend's brides put on. The friend turned the party into a pitch for her new "business" and asked people to buy stuff off of the registry for her new business and to join her business. This business is clearly a Multi-Level Marketing Scheme like Arbonne, Amway, etc.
How trashy is this on a scale of 1-10? 11?

I'm not sure if the bride knew about it.
I love how these people pretend to throw "parties" to bait people in. I feel like I need to throw a "party" for this person. But when they show up, it is an intervention.

No. The bride's friend is the one who was the host of the party and pitched her business at it. The Bride may or may not have known. It's even shittier if she did know, but I doubt she would make a scene at the party if she didn't know of her friend's plan.

Very nice. Have a shite ton of their friends there telling them it's a cult and it's embarrassing that she is harassing her friends and family to support her pyramid scheme business.
