Why Did My Summer League Thread Get Anchored?

So, we are allowed to post articles from ANY site on the internet, but if I link to an article that I wrote (which I don't get paid for and just do for fun in my spare time), that gets an anchor?
What makes that link any different from any other link if there's no profit coming from it whatsoever? Sorry for wanting to start a worthwhile discussion on a board
I'm not trying to start shite but I just want to know why it got the anchor. I'll stop posting them if it's too much of a trouble but I'd like to at least share the hard work I do in my spare time.
