Hale double-clutches a throw, allowing a guy to reach. Fortunately, he's a 2B/1B for the Tigers.

Another note, I hope PM lets Laird and Stevenson go on more straight steals this year.

I agree. Cannizaro had 52 steals his junior year, so hopefully that style rubs off on Mainieri.

I don't think Mainieri is averse to doing that. We had 114 stolen bases in 2009 and 95 in 2008. We just haven't done it as much in recent years for some reason.
