Summertime. Rattlesnakes and corn feeders.

The last 2 times I checked corn feeders I almost got bitten by a rattlesnake. One was a monster and was coiled up under a trough feeder. I guess he was waiting on rats to feed.
I have had 2 more people tell me they experienced the same thing. All within the last 2 weeks.
Any of y'all seen this?

I've always heard close-call stories like this from my hunting buddies regarding trough feeders, I don't use them for that very reason.
