If anyone ever gets the chance to drive from Colorado Springs to Aspen on Hwy 24 to Hwy 82 you need to do it. It goes through the continental divide and is incredible. We hiked Maroon Bell yesterday which didn't even look real. Checkout a few pics:

Is that a beaver dam?

I went there when I was about 8 years old. I need to go back. I'm probably gonna wait till my son is old enough to enjoy it.

Yes it is a beaver dam.

I would wait until he can do some hiking. Aspen is a pretty place but very busy in town.. I never thought it would be this busy in the summer..

Did you hike over the pass and on into Crested Butte? I would really like to that. I think it is about 11 miles.
