When would be the best time for me to buy a phone (LG3 or Nexus5) ?

went to tmobile today and I liked the nexus 5 and LG3 the best out of all the phones I checked out
how much should i expect the nexus to drop in price when the nexus 6 comes out ?

If there is Nexus 6, it will probably be released October to November. Nexus 5 could see a 50-100 dollar price drop, but they'll run out of inventory fast.
G3 is brand new and selling well apparently, so I wouldn't expect a drop there for a few months.

The nexus 5 will retain value very well even if the nexus 6 comes out.
The nexus is the better phone. I would buy it now, sell it for ~$200-250 when/if the 6 drops and then buy the 6.

I agree with the last two posters, and I'll add that:
1) 3-4 months is a long time to wait IMO
2) You might be waiting for longer than that. It sounds likely that the N6 will release later this year but there has been no formal announcement. Plus, what if it's not significantly better than the N5?
I say buy today. Choose between the G3's snazzy features or the N5's value. Both would be good buys right now.

Depends on how patient you are and how important having the latest and greatest is to you. I'm trying to hold out to see what phones will be released with Android L.
