EPL FUUUUUCKED! The King is back!
quote:
On signing his contract, Drogba said: ‘It was an easy decision - I couldn't turn down the opportunity to work with Jose again. Everyone knows the special relationship I have with this club and it has always felt like home to me.
‘My desire to win is still the same and I look forward to the opportunity to help this team. I am excited for this next chapter of my career.’
Jose Mourinho said: ‘He’s coming because he’s one of the best strikers in Europe. I know his personality very well and I know if he comes back he’s not protected by history or what he’s done for this club previously. He is coming with the mentality to make more history.’
quote:
During the Ivorian’s first eight years with the club, Drogba won three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, two League Cups as well as the Champions League triumph. He has been named Chelsea's Player of the Year and Players' Player of the Year and has won the Premier League Golden Boot twice.

Boy does Jose like to sign aging strikers. Didier is my boy though so I'm cool with it. I'm hoping we hold onto to Big Rom and he can learn under Drogs.

He's the same age as Lampard and 3 years older than David Villa.
EPL = Retirement League
EPL = Retirement League

He's on 50,000 a week in a player/coach position. Little bit different.
I'm sure Wenger lost a loose watery stool in his depends upon hearing the news though.

He hoofed all his chances in the world cup, he'll clean up in the carling cup but get bodied by elite EPL CBs

Good thing no contender outside us and City have one of those.

I'm the only CFC fan here unhappy he signed.

It's a big emotional boost to get him back, everyones understandably sentimental about it. But you're left with either Torres/Lukaku, DrogbAARP, and Costa. Only one of those guys seems threatening (hint: the one that has only scored over 20 goals a season once and has yet to prove himself in a new league). You should be unhappy.
