Going on day 6. New to me tire gets here today. OEM replacement is over priced for the performance it gives. Found used one online that matches my milage. I only have about 15k miles on them so was not looking to change all 4. What is your flat tire story?

Come on, this is the OT!!

If I get a flat, I leave car on side of road and get a new car. Usually have the pilot pick me up in helicopter and bring me straight to dealership.

If it's not a donut and a real tire, you can treat it as a real tire...except of it throws your balance off because it's not as worn as the others.

OK, seriously, I've driven over a week once, but that was all of 50-60 miles. My car has run flats now, so I good for a few hundred miles.

I have had the donut. I just kept it under 55 and took it easy. Probably put 240 miles on it. New OEM tire was $249 at tire rack. Much better performers out there for under $200.

I used to have the PEEJ prelude way back in the day. It had some special omnidirectional 205width 14" tires that were high priced for 14"s. So I rose that doughnut until I got paid to Kenner and back to BR a couple of times. Kinda miss that car, it had four wheel steering.

Drove from Alexandria to Dallas on one once cause my numbnut roommate didn't think getting his alignment checked was a big deal. The freakin steering wheel was shaking like Michael J Fox and then BOOM! There goes the tire. Took 11 hours to get from BR to Dallas. And I had to change the flat cause he didn't know how. He held the flashlight well though. What a homo

Still pisses me off

People in Arizona drive on donuts on the highway at 70+ mph. I always move over an extra lane just in case...

That's so freaking dangerous. When I see people riding at high speeds, swerving in and out of traffic on donuts, I don't know whether to laugh or cry at their stupidity.

The couple of times I have had to jump on the interstate its been at 55-60 mph max. And exiting at the next exit. I am sure no many check tire pressure in the donut either. Gauge said 45, should be 60psi on mine.
